Levels in UE4 can range in size from massive terrain-based worlds to very small levels that contain a few Actors. Attach this component to a replicated actor, and it will handle replicating a dynamic level instance to all clients. In Unreal Engine 4 terms, a Level is made up of a collection of Static Meshes, Volumes, Lights, Blueprints and more all working together to bring the desired experience to the player. This works by introducing a new component you can use in actors: the Sublevel component. It allows you to spawn sublevel instances at runtime and have them replicated across the network to all clients. Levels need to be positioned relative to one another, even within their own file. The techniques can also be used together. The latter is probably more useful, as well as being a bit more user-friendly, but takes more steps to set up. Two ways to do it: Set a streaming volume. If true will try to spawn the navigation data instance in the sublevel with navigation bounds, if false it will spawn in the persistent level. I've got one AI dude who's pretty large, and he was bumping into walls trying to walk down a straight corridor, so I added a new Nav Agent with a wider radius. 1 More posts from the unrealengine community 1.2k Posted by 2 days ago 2 Show OffAbout Nav Agent Ue4.
